Electronic ballasts had some special demands to resist the severe using conditions. They included high humidity, high voltage, high frequency, high temperature, high ripple current and long life. This paper used detailed explanations, analysis and data comparisons about the above questions, and gave out some effective countermeasures and test methods. At last, it made conclusion that solving these key points could make ballasts at the top quality level.
