Early Recognition of Earthquake Sequence Types with Grey Relational Analysis

用灰关联分析方法研究主震ＭＳ≥６０级地震序列类型的早期识别，主要对第一个强震后２天内地震序列资料进行分析研究，发现１３次大震（ＭＳ≥７０）后１天和２天震型灰关联识别正确率均为０７７（表１），３６次强震（６０≤ＭＳ＜７０）的均为０８３（表２、表３）。由此表明。

The application of the grey relational analysis method to the early recognition of earthquake sequence types ( M S≥6 0) is studied. Based on the study of two day′s data just affer the first strong earthquake, we obtain the following results: the correct rates of earthquake sequence type recognition both are 0 77 in the two days for the large earthquake ( M S≥7 0) and the strong earthquake (6 0≤ M S<7 0), they are 0 83. It shows that grey relational analysis is an effective method for early recognition of earthquake sequence types.
