摘要
采用白光扫描干涉法,利用Michelson干涉仪中移动臂的移动补偿保偏光纤中产生的光程差,从而实现对保偏光纤绕组中偏振耦合点的耦合强度及空间位置分布的有效检测。分析了白光干涉仪的原理、结构以及干涉条纹特点,进行了保偏光纤环的扫描测量。结果表明,第一个保偏光纤环的质量优于其他各环,证明了仪器设计理论和实验结果相符。
The white light scanning interferometer is adopted to inspect the position and the intensity of polarization coupling in the Polarization Maintaining Fiber (PMF). The measurement system is composed of the sensing interferometer and the receiving interferometer. The distance change in the scanning beam compensates the path difference in the PMF. The interference fringe characteristic is analyzed. The quality of the first polarization maintaining fiber ring is much better than the quality of other fiber rings through the scanning test using the measurement system. It's proved that the experimental results agree with the instrument design theory.
