Wang Yingkui and Literary Notes by Liunan and Continuance

清代文学家王应奎所著《柳南随笔》、《续笔》是一部内容十分丰富的笔记。书中涉及明清之际文坛事迹较多,其中尤其涉及钱谦益的轶事和评论。由于清乾隆以后对钱谦益的著作实行禁毁,故这部作品也未幸免,历次出版均有改动、删节,至今没有一部完整的版本。现据抄本对被删改的部分作了补充,以恢复其本来面目。

A substantial book of literary notes, Literary Notes by Liunan and Continuance by Wang Yingkui from Qing Dynasty, contains numerous literary anecdotes during Ming and Qing Dynasties, many of which are the anecdotes of and comments on Qian Qianyi in particular. This book has not been kept a complete version and it has been altered and deleted in successive versions owing to the prohibition and destruction of Qian Qianyi＇ s books since Qianlong＇ s period. The present version has implemented to the deleted version in an attempt to restore its original version.
