The pathologic changes in myocardium of the mitral regurgitation and its effect on heart function and the regulatory effect on transforming growth factor beta

Objective To investigate the pathologic changes in myocardium of the mitral regurgitation and its effect on heart fnction and the regulatory effects on transforming grwth factor beta （TGF-β）.Methods The model of the mitral regurgitation was constructed and the animals were fed.The dogs were killed at difference time points and the specimens of myocardium were stained by HE,Masson to examine pathological changes of myocardium.
