在无线通信系统设计中,为混频器与调制解调器生成本地振荡时钟的合成器是决定系统性能高低的关键组件之一。如果合成器的性能不够完善,就会直接降低系统的性能,进而影响接收机的灵敏度、误差矢量幅度以及发送器的信号频带属性。采用双转换外差分集接收机与直接变频发送器的无线收发器是一种常见的应用配置。
In wireless communications system design the synthesizer generating the local oscillator clock for the mixers and modulators/demodulators is one of the critical components determining system performance. Its imperfections will directly reduce system margin and thus impact sensitivity in the receiver and Error Vector Magnitude as well as signal spectral properties in the transmitter. A wireless transceiver configuration using a dual-conversion heterodyne diversity receiver and a direct-conversion transmitter is the typical application.
