“唐文三变说”是关于唐代散文发展道路的理论总结,发端于中唐梁肃,发展于北宋姚铉,至北宋宋祁的《新唐书》基本定型,有着鲜明的发展脉络。《新唐书》之“唐文三变”说,较之前人,最大的分歧在于是否承认陈子昂为初唐文风变革的先驱。

The Three-change-theory of articles in Tang Dynasty is an academic elaboration about development of Tang Dynasty articles. Liang Su advocated it; Yao Xuan developed it and Song Qi finalized it in XinTnangShu. To compare with former research productions,the most important difference is whether Chen Zi-ang is the leader of the style transformation in the earlier Tang Dynasty.
