The development of VoIP technology is rapidly in recent years. It provides a good support for convergence of data, voice and video network in electric power communication network. By analyzing the application case of VoIP voice access in a power supply bureaus in Zhen-jiang suburb, the article describes VoIP system configuration and functions, and introduces the realization of IP voice and data services with low cost in a network which combines the traditional PSTN services with the LAN services.
