On Boundary and Structure of Income Distribution

本文根据“交换双媒介”理论，对收入分配的边界和构成进行了探讨。作者首先剖析了当前经济学界存在的“以交换挤分配”与“以分配挤交换”两种倾向，对“收入分配市场化”、“价格分配”、“资源分配”、“信用分配”等流行观点提出了疑义。作者认为，从社会再生产的角度看，收入分配是作为整体发挥作用的，应当把收入分配活动纳入一个系统中进行研究。收入分配包括若干子系统和分系统，子系统是分配中的“块块”，包括企业分配和财政分配；分系统是分配中的“条条”，包括税收分配、工资分配。

This paper discusses the boundary and structure of income distribution based upon the theory of “double media of exchange”. The author firstly analyze the two tendencies existing in present economic circles:“to press distribution with exchange” and “to press exchange with distribution”, and calls “marketization of income distribution”, “distribution through pricing”, “distribution of resources”, “distribution of credit”and other current viewpoints into question. The author considers, from the angle of social reproduction, the distribution of income is playing its role in a whole and should be studied in a system. The distribution of income includes a number of sub-systems and branch systems:sub-systems are the “pieces” of distribution, including distribution by enterprises and distribution by public finance; branch systems are the “strips”, including distribution by taxes, distribution by wages, rent, bonus, dividend and social securities, etc.
