Study on Rice Policy and Standard in Vietnam

越南通过实施一系列改革政策,实现了从大米进口国到世界第二大出口国的飞跃。越南现行的稻米标准不能满足目前大米出口贸易的需要,普通碎米质量标准的完善程度远不如品牌米标准。越南只有选择稳定产量提高质量的稻米政策取向,通过修订大米标准从而提高出口大米质量,才能确保其大米出口大国的地位。

Through series of reform of policy, Vietnam becomes the second large rice export country. The current rice standard cannot meet the requirement of present rice export trade and the improvement level of common broken rice standard is lower than that of brand rice standard. Vietnam has to choose the policy of improving rice quality while stabilizing rice yield, increasing exporting rice quality through revising rice quality standard to keep the position of large rice export country.
