外语教学中的语体意识

摘要 语言能力并不等于交际能力。外语教学的目标不只是使学习者获得理解与生成合乎语法句子的能力,还应帮助他们发展交际能力,使他们能在不同社会情景中得体地进行交际。因此,在外语教学中,教师不仅要传授学生正确的语言形式,还要培养学生的语体意识,使它们能适当地运用语言,提高语言交际的能力。 Language competence is not equal to communicative competence. The purpose of foreign language teaching is not only to let students acquire the ability of making sentences with correct grammatical forms, but also to help them develop their communicative competence. Therefore, in foreign langnage teaching, teachers not only should teach standard langnage but also should cultivate students" awareness of styles so that they can use language appropriately and improve their communicative competenee.
