The paper gives a comment on the recent development, main trend and features of international comminution engineering with emphasis on equipments. The paper concerns with comminution theory study, crushing, mill, screening, anti-wear material, super fine grading, special comminution method and equipment. The paper also recommends and gives comments on the recent development Of the most advanced, famous and biggest comminution equipment, such as hydraulic cone crusher made by Sandvic Sweden, cone crushers on Symons series made by Metso group Finland, the inertia cone crusher made by Sino and Russia in co-operation, roller crushers made by KHD group and Krupp Polysius Germany, vertical impact crushers of Nordberg barmac B series made by Metso group Finland, vibration screen made by Morgensen Sweden, biggest autogenous mill,ball mill, and agitation ball mill in the world, hydraulic syclone made by Krebs USA and high frequency fine vibration screen made by Derrick USA. The paper gives comments on the development of comminution engineering in China and the deference between China and abroad, recommends some comminuting method and equipment which are new and have potential market.
