摘要
本文从大学英语教师的教学实践和理论科研的矛盾现状分析入手,认为矛盾来自主、客观两方面,即大学英语教师自身素质的缺陷和教师工作学习的外部环境的制约。在分析原因的基础上,作者提出了加强英语教师自身素质和建立教学实践与理论科研和谐发展的外部环境的建议。
This paper, based on the analysis of the conflict between English teaching and researching in colleges, argued that the reasons of the conflict lie in subjective and objective aspects, that is, the limited capability of English teachers and their defective exterior working conditions. The author, hence, proposed an urge to perfect English teachers＇ competence and to establish a harmonious environment for teaching practice and research.
