Synthesis of tributyl citrate with sodium bisulfate as catalyst

摘要 以硫酸氢钠为催化剂,对柠檬酸与正丁醇间的酯化反应进行了研究。考察了反应时间、催化剂用量、醇酸摩尔比和催化剂重复使用等对柠檬酸三丁酯酯化率的影响,以及反应液后处理对产品色泽的影响。反应优化条件为:以0.1 mol柠檬酸为基准,醇酸摩尔比4.1,3.5 g催化剂,反应时间2 h,酯化率可达96.7%。实验结果表明,硫酸氢钠是合成柠檬酸三丁酯的优良催化剂,但重复使用效果不佳。 Tributyl citrate was synthesized with citric acid and n-butyl alcohol as raw materials and using p-toluene sulphonic acid supported on active carbon as catalyet. The effect factors, such as time of reaction, the dosage of catalyst, the molar ratio of eyelohexanol to acetic acid and the repeat application of catalyst were investigated to the esterification of tributyl citrate. The effect of reaction fluid to the color of the products was also studied. The optimum conditions of synthesis were determined: molar ratio of acid to alcohol was 1:4.1, amount of catalyst was 3.5 g, reaction time was 2 h based on 0.1 mol tributyl citrate, the yield of esterification was up to 96.7 %. The characterizations of products were determined by using refractive index and IR spectrum. The results showed that sodium bisulfate was the fine catalyst in synthesis of tributyl citrate, but it had poor effect when reused.
