Exchange and cooperation between the Hong Kong legal profession and the Mainland coun-terpart are conducive to the implementation of the fundamental principle of ＂One Country, Two Systems＂. Promoting and facilitating the exchange and cooperation, as well as enhancing the understanding of each other＇s legal system, has since reunification been one of the key policy objectives of the Department of Justice （DoJ） of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region （HKSAR） Government.
