摘要
从名词状语的特点、构成及语法意义3个方面,说明名词状语的使用体现了现代英语越来越能用尽可能简洁的语言结构,来最大限度地表达丰富的思想内容这种趋势。
With the change of English from a comprehensive language to an analytical language , there has been a great change in its structure. The widespread applications of nouns as adverbials shows that modem English tries to use as terse language structures as possible to express rich ideological content.
