This paper introduces a impedance respiratory frequency monitoring system controlled by a 8098 single-chip microcomputer with a liquid crystal display(LCD). This system can measure the respiratory frequency in real time and give an alarm when it is beyond the normal range,and upper and lower values of the warning parameters can also be set by the keyboard.
