摘要 树木的3维渲染是地形仿真的重要组成部分。在基于经典广告牌3维树模型绘制基础上,应用一种切片方案模拟树的体特征,实现视觉效果更为真实的3维树模拟。在切片绘制时,算法充分利用图形硬件的可编程特性,使整个顶点变换和纹理单元都在图形硬件上装配实现,同时应用LOD原理绘制切片,提高绘制效率。最后,通过实验验证了算法的正确性和实用性。 The tree simulation is one of the important components of terrain rendering. In this paper, it proposes a new representation for the forest terrain rendering which is based on the classical billboard technique. It takes advantage of the programmable graphic hardware to calculate the data. At the same time it reduces the rendering slices num by using the level of detail theory. In the end of this paper, it gives the experiment and proves that this method is right and practical.
