当前我国已经进入构建社会主义和谐社会的新阶段,统一战线也发展成为构建社会主义和谐社会新阶段的统一战线。党加强对统一战线领导,就必须正确认识和处理带有全局性的政党关系、民族关系、宗教关系、阶层关系、海内外同胞关系,不断探索党对统战工作领导的路径,团结一切可以团结的力量,充分调动一切积极因素,妥善化解消极因素,为构建社会主义和谐社会服务。

At present, China has entered a new stage of a socialist harmonious society. The united front is also developing into the new stage of the united front which is building a socialist harmonious society. Strengthening the Party＇s leadership of the united front, we must correctly understand and handle the overall relations between the parties, nationalities, religions, classes, and overseas compatriots, and continuously explore ways for the Party leadership of the united front work. We must unite all forces that can be united, fully mobilize all positive factors and properly defuse negative factors to serve the socialist harmonious society.
