This paper generally introduced the development situation of the portable pneumatic extinguisher both at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the article made a comparison between axial-flow fan and centrifugal fan from the viewpoint of the efficiency of fire-extinguishment. Finally, the article discussed the questions that the research of the axial-flow pneumatic extinguisher existing.
