摘要
雅言词是指中古文献中为达到典雅的修辞目的而使用的源自儒家经典的词语。对它的专题研究是中古汉语词汇研究亟待填补的空白。从《汉语大词典》的编纂实践来看,雅言词的典据渊源、构成方式、意义及其历时演变等对于词典编纂有重要的意义。
Yayan（雅言 exquisite） words refers to words stemming from Confucian classics, which were to some extent widely used by the literati in the Middle Ages for rhetorical purposes. A proper research of Yayan（雅言） words is an urgent gap to be filled in the study of the lexical system of Middle Chinese. This paper attempts to discuss Yayan（雅言） words from the perspectives of their origins, composition methods, meaning and historical evolution, and picks out several problems in the Unabridged Chinese Dictionary to illustrate the significance of Yayan（雅言） study in the compilation of dictionaries.
