在济慈短短的一生中,对人生的意义和对美的强烈追求始终是他生命的主旋律。正是由于这种积极的人生追求和认真的处世态度,济慈才具有了对自然界的强烈责任感,才能够怀着一颗慈善之心去关爱自然、赞美自然,不断体悟人与自然的关系及其发展规律以形成他的自然观。回归自然是生态文学永恒的主题,而回归自然的最高境界是人与自然融为一体。济慈的自然观体现了相容共生的观点。
Throughout his tragically short life, Keats pursues the true meaning of life and beauty. Owing to this positive and serious life attitude, he developed a strong responsibility for the natural world and cherished a loving heart for the care and admiration of nature. Keats＇ view of nature was formed as a result of his ever deepening understanding of the relationship between man and nature and of its law of development. The permanent theme of ecological literature is ＂return to nature,＂ the ideal state of which is the union of man and nature as an organic whole. This concept can be found in Keats＇ view of nature.
