银川市活断层探测进展概述

Summary on Recent Progress of Active Fault Exploration Project in Yinchuan City

本文介绍了对银川市城区两条隐伏断层所做的多层次、多手段综合探测,包括在同一个试验场点进行的三个层次的浅层人工地震勘探、钻孔联合剖面探测和槽探,从深到浅,逐层捕获隐伏目标,直到明确锁定目标断层在试验场点的准确位置、产状和上断点埋深等情况。通过对银川市活断层探测中目标断层的追踪探测,查明了市区银川隐伏断层和芦花台隐伏断层的平面展布,特别是在市区的延伸位置。通过岩芯样品的绝对年龄测定,得到了银川隐伏断层北段晚全新世活动,南段晚更新世活动,芦花台断层晚更新世以来不活动的结论。

Two buried faults developed in Yinchuan city area are the target of the project. This paper describes the comprehensive exploration method which has been applied and the recent progress of the active fault exploration project of Yinchuan city. The distribution and the end locations of these two faults, i.e. Yinchuan fault and Luhuatai fault, have been determined. By applying dating technique on the samples from borehole core, we conclude that the last active time of Yinchuan buried fault is in late Recene for the north segment, and in late Pleistocene for the south segment. Luhuatai buried fault, however, is inactive since the Epileistocene.
