Study on Determination of Seven Fluoroquinolones in Pork Sample by Rapid High Performance Liquid Chromatography

A method for the simultaneous determination of seven fluoroquinolones （Enrofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin, Levofloxacin, Enoxacin, Norfloxacin, Fleroxacin and Lomfloxacin） in pork was developed. The pork sample was extracted by acid -treated acetonitrile and purified by a C18 solid -phase extraction cartridge. Thereafter, the fluoroquinolones were separated on a ZORBAX Stable Bound （4.6×50 mm, 1.8 μm） rapid column with acetonitrile （containing 0. 1% of phosphatic acid） as mobile phase at a flow- rate of 2. 0 mL/min and detected at 281 nm. The seven fluoroquinolones can be separated completely with in 3.5 rain. The limits of detection （LOD） were from 2. 5 to 4. 6 ng/mL. The linearity of calibration curves in concentration range 0.2 to 50 μg/mL were well. The average recovery was 95% - 104% and RSD （n =5） 〈3.2%. This study provided a feasible, accurate and sensitive method for the determination of fluoroquinolones.
