高职学生英语学习策略研究

A Study of English Learning Strategies of Vocational College Students

本文采用调查问卷的方式和定量分析方法,对高职学生英语学习策略使用情况进行了调查。研究结果表明:高职学生英语学习中运用学习策略频率不高,学习策略的使用频率顺序是:形式操练策略、功能操练策略、使用母语策略、社会/情感策略、元认知策略。而学习策略的使用和英语水平具有相关性。因此,应采用以策略训练为基础的教学来提高高职学生的英语水平。

This paper reports a study of English learning strategies of vocational college students by means of a questionnaire survey and quantitative method. The major findings are as follows： The frequency of using learning strategies by the vocational college students when learning English is not high. In terms of total frequency, formfocused strategies rank first, followed by function-focused strategies, using mother -tongue strategies,social or affective strategies and meta cognitive strategies, he study shows the correlation between the application of learning strategies and English level. The implication of the study is that Strategies-based Instruction should be adopted to improve vocational college students＇ English.
