This paper introduces the integrated conception of developing a digital library in the Library of Guanganmen Hospital Affiliated with China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in respect of the principles, system configurations of digital libraries, as well as their hardware allocation and network building, h also introduces how to apply the advanced concepts and techniques to the development of the digital library.
