摘要
福斯特的《莫瑞斯》对男同性恋的再现是理解其反叛思想的一个重要切入点。他以同性恋欲望作为重塑中产阶级男性的突破口,在打破异性恋与同性恋对立的同时仍无力甩脱传统的性别头盔。虽然积极开放出多元化的男同性恋情,却只能以乌托邦的形式赋予男同性恋情以合理性与未来。总之,它体现了在对意识形态的反叛与规训之间暧昧交织的复杂面貌。
E.M.Forster＇s Maurice is a key point to the understanding of Forster＇s rebellion. He depicted homosexuality in order to renew middle-class men. He broke through the binary between heterosexual and homosexual and portrayed homosexuality diversity, but he still followed the traditional gender conception. The novel presents obliquity between rebellion and obedience to the then ideology.
