国际银行业走势分析及其对中资商业银行的启示

Analysis of the Trend of International Banks and Messages to China's Commercial Banks

本文从美国、欧洲和日本选取10家具有代表性的国际先进银行作为样本,采取定量和定性相结合的分析方法,通过对比分析10家银行和我国三大国有银行(中国建设银行、中国工商银行和中国银行)1998～2005年的财务指标及综合得分,得出11家银行2005年的综合竞争力排名。综合竞争力排名的结果显示我国三大国有商业银行与国际先进银行还存在较大的差距。通过实证分析,归纳出国际先进银行近8年来各主要经营指标走势,并在此基础上,总结出国际银行业的主要运行趋势及成功经验。

This paper samples 10 typical world advanced banks in USA, Europe and Japan and compares them with the three big state-owned banks （CCB, ICBC and BOC） with respect to financial indexes and comprehensive scores during the period of 1998-2005 with quantitative and qualitative analytical method. As a result, eleven banks are selected and ranked in terms of comprehen- sive competitiveness. Ranking result shows that our three big state-owned commercial banks lag far behind those world advanced banks. Through empirical analysis, trends of major operational indexes of those foreign banks over the past 8 years are figured out and development direction and experience of success of world banking sector are summarized.
