摘要
高等学校英语应用能力考试(PRETCO)是为反映和评价高等学校专科层次修完英语课程的在校学生英语应用能力而设立的标准化英语水平考试,对高职高专英语教学目的、教材、课堂教学模式、课程内容和结构、多媒体教学的实施等方面,具有正面反拨效应,同时也有一定的负面影响。
This article is intended for the analyses of the relationship between PRETCO and Fundamental Requirements, PRETCO and CET4, the validity and reliability of PRETCO. This article sums up its focal points and the characteristics and points out that it has developed some backwash effects in vocational college English teaching.
