摘要
本文介绍过程工业的特点，回顾过程控制的发展过程，指出过程控制发展的趋势，强调过程综合自动化这一发展方向，并讨论过程控制面临的理论和实际问题．
In this paper, the features of process industries are briefed at the beginning. After a review and a discussion on the trend of developments in process control, the integrated automation is emphasised. In the last half of the paper, the theoretical and practical problems faced by process control are suggested for further consideration.
