粮食主产省粮食生产投入要素效率DEA分析——基于1990—2004年湖北省投入要素的实证分析

DEA Method-based Efficiency Evaluation of Input Factors in Grain Production of Major Grain Producing Provinces——Empirical Analysis Based on the Input Factors of Hubei in 1990-2004

中部地区对于中国粮食安全做出了积极贡献。作为中部六省之一,湖北省在粮食安全上也做出了积极贡献。运用DEA方法分析1990-2004年湖北省粮食生产投入要素,揭示湖北省在粮食生产投入要素方面的运行效率,发现湖北省粮食生产存在投入过多,要素投入有松弛量,尤其是2004年化肥施用量和农业机械总动力的投入;同时发现,湖北省粮食生产存在规模过小的制约,需要适当扩大生产规模,发挥粮食生产的规模效益,以提高粮食综合生产效率。

The central region has made a positive contribution to China＇ s food security. As one of the six provinces in this region, Hubei province has also made a positive contribution. Using DEA analysis evaluating the efficiency of input factors in grain production of Hubei in 1990-2004 in order to reveals the efficiency of food production input factors, it has been found that there is too much input in grain production and there are slacks of input factors, especially the consumption of chemical fertilizer and total power of agricultural machinery in 2004. It is needed to expand the production to overcome the small scale food production in Hubei Province so as to improve grain production efficiency by scale merit.
