Japanese loanwords

日语和制外来语是指日本人以简化、改造的手段吸收他种语言中的词语并使之日语化,在日常生活中使用的词语.日语和制外来语大部分来自英语,和原语相比,在形式、语音和意义方面都发生了很大的变化.它们反映了日本人的生活方式和民族心理,与社会的发展有着密切的联系,促进了日语和日本文化的发展.

Japanese loanwords refer to the Japanese words which are introduced from foreign languages by means of simplifying, reconstructing and used in the daily life. Most of Japanese loanwords come from English. Compared with the original words, they vary greatly in their forms, pronunciation and meanings. Having a close connection with the social development, they reflect Japanese living ways and national psychology and accelerate the development of Japanese and Japanese culture.
