The application situation of information system for Wuhan power distribution networks is briefly introduced. A simple and practical electric power thematic GIS （geogralic information system） map type webpage polling way is proposed. In addition, the function of virtual printer based on Autodesk DWF Writer,. NET,and the fulfilment process of automatic publishing the GIS graphic data to production control web are presented.
