改革开放以来,随着社会主义市场经济的深入发展,特别是民营经济的高速发展,新的社会阶层开始出现。这些新的社会阶层对我国经济和社会的发展起了重要作用。在落实科学发展观的实践中,我党第一次把社会的和谐确定为社会发展的目标,因此,正确认识新的社会阶层在创建和谐社会中的地位和作用,具有十分重要的理论意义和实践意义。

In implementing the scientific development theory, the Party for the first time determines the harmonious society construction as the goal of the society development. Therefore understanding the role and function of the new social stratum fully and correctly is insignificant with i theoretical and praclice meanings.
