城市化是一个国家由传统的农业社会向现代化城市社会发展的历史发展过程。通过对东、中、西部以及西部地区内部影响城市化发展的因素进行分析,提出城市化的模式设计以及相关的政策措施,旨在促进西部地区城市化。

Urbanization is a historic development process for a country from traditional agricultural society to modern urban society. After analyzing the factors which influence urbanization development in the east, middle and west part of China and inside west region, this paper puts forward urbanization mode design and related policies and measures in order to promote the urbanization of the west part of China.
