基于MPEG-4的视频压缩系统的设计

摘要 所设计的视频压缩系统是基于MPEG-4的压缩标准进行设计的。可同时完成两路MPEG-4视频压缩,系统支持视频图像实时预览,视频由它直接传送到显存,压缩的码流也由它直接传送到内存,无需主机CPU介入做任何操作,并通过PCI接口传送到内存中,不占用CPU资源。特别适用于数字视频录像机、远程数字监控、网络视频应用等领域。 The compression system of video based on MPEG - 4 is designed in this paper. The system can accomplish two- route - MPEG - 4 - video compression at the same time. It supports the video image previewed realtime. The video image can be straight carried to the storage. The code stream compressed is also straight carried to the memory. The CPU needn' t do an)lhing in the process. It may no busy resource of CPU if it makes the image carried to the storage by PCI interface. The system is specially the same with DV, teledigital supervision, Web video applying, etc.
