Development for a Garden City Xuzhou with Natural Landscapes

文章分析了自然山水在山水园林城市建设中的重要作用,结合徐州市的山水资源优势,提出在建设山水园林城市中应合理规划,确定山水资源的利用范围;深化设计,确定山水资源利用目标;完善植被,发挥山水资源的生态作用;融合文化,提高山水资源的意蕴内涵。

The paper describes the important roles of natural landscapes in the development for a garden city. To make full use of the advantageous landscape resources of Xuzhou city, an appropriate urban development plan for a garden city with natural landscapes should be made to identify proper scope of utilization of the natural landscape resources, to define objectives of the utilization of landscape resources by improving landscaping designs, to elaborate the ecological functions of the landscape resources through improving the vegetation cover and to enhance the implications of the landscape resources by harmonizing different cultures.
