河北后城组昆虫化石的新发现和后城昆虫群的建立

DISCOVERY OF FOSSIL INSECTS FROM HOUCHENG FORMATION OF HEBEI PROVINCE AND ESTABLISH OF HOUCHENG ENTOMOFAUNA

本文首次发表了晚侏罗世后城组中新发现的昆虫化石。在此基础上建立后城昆虫群,完善了北方从中侏罗世至早白垩世昆虫的演化序列。

The fossil insects reported here for the first time were collected from the black and grey shales of the early part of late Jurassic Houcheng Formation(J_(3h))of Hebei Province in N.China.There are many insect specimens which show poor diversity and represented by only 5 taxa:Rhipidoblattina(Canaliblatta)chichengensis sp.nov.,Sogdoblatta sp., Mesoblatta sp.,Yuxiania jurassica gen.et sp.nov.,Huaxiarhynphus houchengensis Hong (published in another article).Judging by their characteristics two local insect assemblages may be established:(1)the Chieheng Entomassemblage represented by Rhipidobilattina (Canal.)chichengensis-Huaxiarhyphus houchengensis assemblage discovered from the Houcheng Formation of Chicheng County,Hebei Prov.(2)the Yanqing Entomassemblage consisting of Rhipidoblattina(Canal.)yanqingensis-Samaroblattula houchengensis- Protorthophlebia yanqingensis,collected from the Houeheng Formation of Yanqing County within Beijing.These assemblages indicate characteristic insects in different districts, which are considered to be making up the Houcheng Entomofauna represented by the as- semblage of Rhipidoblattina chichengensis-Huaxiarhyphus houchengensis-Pro- torthophlebia yanqingensis..
