中华民族凝聚力的文化学根源有三个向度。文化就其与民族的关联而言,它既是民族自我认证的标志,又是民族自觉凝聚的精神源泉。文化在历时性的传承中,经过民族的不断选择与认同,积淀为共时性的民族精神,它构成了民族凝聚力的思想内核。文化变迁大致包括三种不同路径:一是文化内在精神的自然演进;二是外来文化冲击的被动变革;三是多元文化潜移的相互涵化。它是中华民族凝聚力得以深化的内在机制。

The cultural origin of Cohesiveness of the Chinese nation has three ways. Culture, connecting with nation, is both the mark of self- recognition and the spiritual source of conscious- cohesion of nation. National spirit is ideological core of cohesion of nation, which is accumulated by choosing and approving of nation continuously in delivering of culture for a long time. The change of culture is the inherent mechanism of promoting the development of the cohesiveness of the Chinese nation, which has three different ways： the first is natural evolution of cultural self - spirit, the second is passive transform under attack of the foreign culture, the third is mutual contain during influence of pluralistic culture.
