摘要
文章从“外宣三贴近”(贴近中国发展的实际,贴近国外受众对中国信息的需求,贴近国外受众的思维习惯)原则出发,通过大量的实例分析探究了在对外宣传中如何处理好“标数式新词语”的翻译问题,即:在充分理解原文的基础上采取(1)直译;(2)直译加注;(3)意译;(4)替译;(5)音译等。
Drawing from a huge corpus of case studies, this paper analyses and explores the strategies for publicity-oriented C/E translation of the neologisms with numbers. Publicity-oriented C/E translators should master and adhere to the principles of being closer to the reality of China's development, being closer to the target audience's needs of information from China, and being closer to the target audience's thinking patterns. Under the guidance of these three principles of adherence, the author concludes that it is appropriate to adopt literal translation, literal translation + annotation , amplification or compensation, substitution, and transliteration, etc. in the process of translating the neologisms with numbers
