Considerations about the Modernization of Chinese Teaching Materials Culture

中国语文教材文化从1904年颁布新学制开始,已进行了长达百年的现代化努力。文章试从本源上理清教材文化的特质,寻找教材文化的现代定位,认为必须破除盲目迷信西方文化中心的观点,也必须破除固守中华文化中心而不思变革的观点。只有更清醒、更理智地将语文教材文化定位在民族与文化上,我们的语文教材文化建设才会真正从语言方式、思维方式和价值观念上构建中华民族的文化。

Since the promulgation of the new educational system in 1904, the modernization of Chinese teaching materials culture has been taking more than one hundred years. This article tries grasping the innate characters of teaching materials from its source and seeking its orientation in modern times. At present, both the viewpoint of worshipping Western culture blindly and the idea of sticking to Chinese culture and refusing reform must be abandoned. Only it orientates Chinese teaching materials culture towards Chinese nationality and culture more sensibly, the construction of Chinese teaching materials culture can really build the great mansion of the culture of Chinese nationality from the aspects of language modes, thinking ways and value judgment.
