以鼠标外壳为例,介绍了如何将Pro/E格式的模具图形转化成Mastercam图形格式,并介绍了在Mastercam中编制加工刀具路径,再生成NC码的方法。以解决设计人员使用Pro/E软件设计,而模具加工人员使用Mastercam软件辅助加工的矛盾。

Taking the outer covering of mouse as an example, the method of graph converting from Pro/E to Mastercam is introduced in this paper. The methods of working out cutting tool route in Mastercam and produce NC code are stated. So as to resolve the contradiction between designer which design using Pro/E and manufacturer which manufacture using Mastercam.
