In the period of 1949-1966 , large amount of characters entered paintings. Characters, combined with the images or becoming an image, unfold political discourses. The external political pressure or inner political enthusiasm urged the painters to create this special while typical political arts.The thesis analyses the way, the content, style and form of characters of how characters enter paintings.
