科技期刊面临的机遇与挑战

Opportunity and the challenge for the science and technology periodicals

目前我国科技期刊存在整体水平薄弱,资源分散,科技期刊资本实力较差,期刊出版周期长,发行规模小,发行手段单一,期刊质量亟待提高,科技人才和编辑人才的流失等问题。我国加入WTO后,为科技期刊的发展提供了新的机遇与挑战,本文提出了打造精品期刊的发展策略。

The situation of science and technology periodicals in our country is not optimistic at present. There are such problems as follows： the whole weak level, dispersive resources, weak capital strength, long publishing period, restricted publishing scope, simplex issuing mode, the low quality and drain of the science and technology talents and editors. Correspondingly, the improvement measures and development strategy are put forward, such as accelerating the progress of the science and technology periodicals to involve in market, improving the quality of the science and technology periodicals, promoting the transformation of advanced technology, enhancing the integral level of editors, and centering on the quality, producing the elaborate periodicals, changing idea, enthusing over innovation and so on.
