摘要
本文依据小说评论家莫里斯.萨博尔德有关短篇小说解读的论述,对厄内斯特.海明威的短篇小说《大双心河》进行了解读。笔者结合海明威的其他作品中对该短篇之主人公经历的描述,解析《大双心河》中看似令人费解的细节,试图挖掘其蕴藏于琐碎与晦涩之下的深意。
In this thesis Shadbold＇s theory on a short story reading is adopted for the analysis of Ernest Hemingway＇s short story Big Two-Hearted River. By relating the story with the hero＇s life experiences in other short stories written by Hemingway, this paper presents a good understanding of the seemingly questionable and difficult details in Big Two- Hearted River.
