中国传统孝文化历经上古时期的萌芽、西周的兴盛、春秋战国的转化、汉代的政治化、魏晋南北朝的深化与异化、唐代的继承、宋明的理学化与极端化直至清末的最终消亡,是在中国长期的历史发展过程中积淀而成的。孝文化是一个复杂的文化现象,从不同的视角来审视可以得出不同的结论。在当代,我们不能仅仅对其作简单的二元对立的分析,而要从孝文化的历史与内涵中重新审视其在构建和谐社会中的当代价值,寻求其创新与发展的途径。

Traditional Chinese culture of filial piety has its distinctive national features. This thesis expounds the origin and development of Chinese culture of filial piety at different periods and its cultural implications. It points out that this complicated culture should not be understood from a dualistic perspective because its value should be found in history and in reality.
