我国高校体育本科专业设置宜遵循超前性、可行性、地方性、开放性、统筹性和灵活性的原则,按照专业设置服从社会对体育人才需求和学生全面发展的要求,通过优化专业结构,扬长避短创办名牌高校,办特色专业,科学地确立人才培养目标,建立一个适应时代要求的具有可持续发展的普通高校体育本科专业库,多渠道、全方位地拓展新专业。

The paper draws a conclusion that the setup of PE specialities of colleges in China should follow the principle of forward - looking, feasibility, locality, opening, overall - planning and flexibility, and should subordinate to the requirement of the social talents and students all - round development. Through optimizing the structure, and foundering famous institutions of higher learning which make best use of their advantages, the talents fostering goal should be established scientifically and sustainablly, and new speciclity should be developed and put into effect from various channels and all sides.
