摘要
句法结构反映人的概念结构和对世界的识解方式。包含相同概念内容的句式也会因为对事件的识解方式不同而导致意义上的差别。英语双及物结构的两个典型构式,双宾构式(DOC)和与格构式(DC)不是衍推和转换的同义关系,而是体现了认知和意义的不同。本文首先分析了英语三价动词这一范畴的典型特征,继而探讨了DOC和DC的构式义及其成因,分析了这两个构式的差异以及造成这些差异的原因,最后分析了这两种构式如何通过隐喻和转喻的延伸形成SVNX和SVN2XN1的构式范畴。
The syntax of an expression reflects conceptual structures and the way people construe the world. Syntactic constructions containing the same conceptualcontents may differ in meaning due to the different construals employed to structure the conceived scenes. The English double object construction （DOC） and dative construction （DC）, are not of the relations of derivation or transformation, but rather differ in cognition and meaning. This paper will first explore the prototypical features of the English ditransitive verbs, and then elaborate the constructional meanings and the differences between DOC and DC, and then account for their restrictions and underlying causes, and finally their metaphorical and metonymical extensions.
