中国海洋石油总公司成立于1982年．是中国第三大石油公司和全球最大的油气勘探开发公司之一。依据《中华人民共和国对外合作开采海洋石油资源条例》．公司享有在中国对外合作海区内进行石油勘探、开发、生产和销售的专营权。
Incorporated in 1982, China National Offshore Oil Corporation （CNOOC） is the third largest oil company in China and one of the largest oil and gas exploration and production companies in the world. CNOOC is authorized under the Regulations of the People＇s Republic of China on the Exploitation of Offshore Petroleum Resources in Cooperation with Foreign Enterprises to assume the overall responsibilities for the exploitation of oil and gas resources offshore China in cooperation with foreign partners.
