The aim to this thesis is to discuss and investigate the characters and functions of Energy Performance Contracting（EPC）. According to the top topics of energy-saving and sustainable development, this paper presents the prospect of propelling the service offered by Energy Service Company Organization（ESCO）, analyzing the modes of operation of EPC, expounding the problems and obstacles which may exist in the application, for the sake of providing building corporations with a new idea in constructing green buildings.
